QRelay

Terms of Service

Last updated 9 August 2026. Plain English, no tricks.

1. What QRelay does

QRelay operates QRelay, a service that generates QR codes pointing at short links we host, lets you change where those links go, and counts scans.

2. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. One person or business per account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

3. Acceptable use

Don't point QRelay links at malware, phishing pages, content that's illegal where you or your scanners are, or anything designed to deceive the person scanning about where they're going. Don't resell raw redirects as a link-shortening service. We may disable a code or an account that breaks this, and we'll tell you why when we do.

4. Your content, your links

Your destinations, labels and generated codes are yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service — storing your data, serving your codes and redirecting your scans.

5. Paid plans

Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Prices can change, but never mid-term — we'll email you before a renewal at a new price. See the refund policy.

6. Cancellation

Cancel anytime from the billing portal in your dashboard. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Codes you've already printed keep redirecting after you cancel — we don't hold physical objects hostage. You go back to the free feature set: no new codes past 2, and analytics detail switches off.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep redirects up, but we don't promise a specific uptime figure, and we don't offer a paid SLA. If a printed code is business-critical, understand that you're depending on a service that can have outages.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses — including reprinting costs, lost sales or lost data.

9. Ending things

You can export your data and delete your account at any time from your account page, with no need to contact us. You can delete your codes and stop using QRelay whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 3, or if we shut the service down — in which case we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
